I created this painting in response to a challenging brief set for an exhibition early in 2020 at AGRA Gallery in Camberwell, Victoria. The theme set for the exhibition by MAVA (Melbourne And Victorian Artists) was 'Passage of Time' and I felt that 'Transient Beauty' was a good fit as it is a bunch of fading roses, beginning to show the effects of the passage of time.
