Rendezvous - a lovers' tryst, a planned meeting with a friend, a long-awaited catch-up, and other descriptions of similar meanings.
This is a painting of my beloved white iceberg roses. The photo was taken last summer when the bush was laden with these beautiful blooms. It looks to me like they are having a chat in my garden, hence the name and yes, I do have a bit of a fanciful imagination! I love their fresh whiteness, their simplicity and the lovely form of their curving petals which are a joy to paint.
I have carried the painting of the petals around the side edges of the canvas.
