WINNER - City of Maroondah Mayoral Art Prize 2021
Nella Luce - into the light. Painted to fit the brief of 'Chiaroscuro', light and shadow, this painting is my interpretation of this style when it's applied to a flower! I painted this one to submit to an Art Prize and exhibition in my local area, an adaptation of the very popular traditional method of including light and shadow as a part of the work.
This painting is on display at the Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery in Ringwood, Victoria from 12 April 2021 until 4 June 2021.
